Healthy Schools and Young Carer awards

Today, we were visited by Cllr Adorabelle Shaikh, who leads on education and Cllr. Imtiyaz Shaikh, the Mayor of Swindon as well as Nick Bolton from Wiltshire Healthy Schools and Caroline McAleese from SBC Public Health. They presented our school with the Silver Healthy Schools award and to also recognise us as a Young Carer Friendly school. We have received two plaques for each site.

The Wellbeing Ambassadors and the deputy head boy and girl joined us and the visitors were very impressed with the children and their knowledge about mental health.
