Bulb Planting Project

Last week, a group of hard-working children in Key Stage 2 (including some of our Eco Warriors) helped to plant up over 500 bulbs!!! We're hoping these bulbs will survive the bitterly-cold weather in the greenhouse and be ready to brighten our school in the new year. This was made possible by some very kind donations from Bulbs4Kids (who donated the bulbs and trowels) and B&Q (who donated the pots).

Crisp Packet Project

This term, the Eco Warriors have decided they would like to support The Crisp Packet Project as part of their environmental work. The Crisp Packet Project (CPP) are a charity that give new life to used plastics, specifically crisp packets, and use these to help people living on the streets with nothing. The CPP use clean, flat, cut open crisp packets to make blankets, ponchos, carrier bags and much more. Please find a couple of links below to videos that clearly explain how the charity like the crisp packets to be prepared, to ensure they can get straight to work on making products for those in need. We will be collecting crisp packets from Monday 16th May 2022 to Friday 27th May 2022. Thank you in advance for your support in making a difference to people’s lives and our environment.
