Curriculum Maps

At Holy Rood, we follow the National Curriculum statements for geography. Our curriculum is skills-based, providing children with opportunities to experience practical fieldwork. Children are encouraged to be observant and curious about the world around them. We celebrate our children's diverse cultural heritage and nationalities, while developing their sense of place and belonging within the United Kingdom. 

Children are taught not only factual knowledge but supported to 'think like geographers', developing the analytical and communication skills needed for further study.
