• Coronation Celebrations

  We celebrated the coronation of King Charles III with a red, white and blue day in school. After a special assembly, we enjoyed a street party lunch before an afternoon of PSHE lessons to learn more about the role of the monarch as head of state.

   

  Children in all year groups contributed to items for a time capsule. We wanted to mark this important date in history by recording what life is like at Holy Rood in 2023. We hope that future generations might discover our time capsule and learn more about life in the past.
