Today, we had a go at trading with tribes in other settlements, just like they did in the Iron Age!
Wiltshire Museum
Year 3 enjoyed a local community field trip to a place of historic interest in Wiltshire as part of our Holy Rood 42 activities. They explored Wiltshire Museum in Devizes linking to their history and geography learning. During the visit, the children had the opportunity to handle Stone Age and Irona Age artefacts and create their own prehistoric jewellery!
Maths: We made 3D shapes using spaghetti and play dough! Can you name the shapes we built?
European Day of Languages: We took part in activities to celebrate different languages around the world including food tasting!
History: We became archaeologists and took part in a soil-less dig. Look at what we discovered...
