Year 5 Trip to Williams Racing
Year 5 had a brilliant trip to Williams Racing this term where they took part in a variety of STEM experiences. They had a go at a design challenge where they had to make a nose cone for a Formula 1 car using specific materials and a budget. Then, they got to look at a range of very impressive Formula 1 cars and learn how they are built before getting to test them by racing in an esports simulator! Throughout the trip, Year 5 showed exemplary behaviour and represented the values of Holy Rood School.
Year 5 Film Night!
Year 5 had a great time staying late at school to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! They enjoyed popcorn, sweets and watching the film with their friends.
