Year 5 Hockey Tournament 2023

10 children from Year 5 took part in a Catholic school tournament. On this occasion Holy Rood played a series of matches against St. Mary's school using our very own multi-use games area.

The children played extremely well in all matches which were played at a very highly competitive level. This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to gain valuable sporting experience in a sport that they have been learning about in their physical education lessons. Holy Rood won the tournament and showed great teamwork, resilience and confidence to be successful. They should all be very proud of themselves.
