Thank you to all of you who attended the 'Rock Up and Read' session to join your child in their classroom and spend time sharing a book together! Reading supports children in all areas of the curriculum and therefore, as parents and carers, you play a vital role in supporting your child in becoming a confident reader. 

There are also many benefits to reading with your child, which include developing vocabulary and language skills; inspiring your child's imagination and creativity; and creating an awe and wonder for the world around them, through further learning.
