Or you can click on the link below and choose a book to listen to, maybe listen to a chapter of a story and continue it over the Easter Holidays.

Maths

Today’s maths lesson is all about worded problems! In the Maths Star section, there is a word document called multiplication and division problems. These problems are either using multiplication or division. Remember to look for those key words that we discussed in class to help us look for what to do. Use an appropriate way to solve these problems. You don’t need to write out each worded problem, just show your working out in your work book. Any problems, just email us.

English

Use your plan from earlier this week and write the end part of the story: resolution (1 paragraph) in your workbook. On the English Star section we have included an LO grid for things that should be included in your writing. Write your resolution and then read to an adult making corrections in your whole story. Does it make sense? Are there any missing words? Any spellings you need to check? Check through for capital letter and full stops in the correct place and that names of places and people have capital letters too.

Use the Journey of Jakarta text map to help your writing. This can be in the English Star section.

REMEMBER: Neat handwriting!

Topic

As we approach Easter, we would like you to write a prayer in your workbook including all the things that you are thankful for. Please take some quiet time to reflect and think of all your achievements so far.

All maths and reading answers will be available from 2pm today in the appropriate star sections for you to mark with an adult.

Have a lovely Easter holiday! Remember you are all superstars and we are proud of the work you are doing at home. Look over at our Easter Fun Star later on today for activities and challenges over the Easter Holidays.
