Shape Transformation Questions: Answers

Thursday 2nd April 2020

The 'Reflecting Shapes' MyMaths homework is tricky. It is important you look through the MyMaths 'Online Lesson' as it explains how shapes can be reflected in the mirror line: https://app.mymaths.co.uk/316-lesson/reflecting-shapes

For example:

y = 0 in this question because Shape A is reflected where the mirror line is ‚Äč0 on the y-axis

Whereas on this question, Shape A is reflected where the mirror line is -2 on the y-axis.

If you found these questions challenging, you may wish to have another go; I will reset this homework for those of you who struggled with the questions.
