Whole Year Activities

Today, Susie from the NHS came to speak to the Year 3's to discuss how to correctly care for their teeth. The children have work books, tooth brushes and tooth paste to use at home.

The Year 3 children had a great time on their sponsored walk at Swindon Town Football Stadium. A year 3 child came up with the idea of raising money to help pay for the schools football kits.

Today we were extremely lucky to have a visit from a secondary school teacher, Mr Scutt. We had a really exciting lesson making and testing water rockets. We investigated how we might make our rockets fly higher and faster. One even disappeared over the trees into Lawns!

We had a fantastic time at Sports Day competing in lots of fun races. The parents and staff agreed so much so that they had their very on race!

Year 2 & 3 had a great time last week at the school disco... we may even see some of these dance moves at the talent show!

We had a great day celebrating the Queens 90th Birthday

We have a wonderful and interesting day at Chedworth Roman Villa.

Today in our first computing club session we had great fun creating avatars which keep us safe when using the Internet. We talked about how to stay safe online and the importance of not revealing personal details. We used 'Build your wild self' to make our own avatars whilst learning lots about different animals.
