Owls

Reception have been looking at real life superheroes they know. We also had our community police officers come into class to answer questions about their important jobs in helping people.

Squiggle while you wiggle. We squiggled while we wiggled! We had fun dancing with our pom poms while learning a new gross motor movement to a piece of music. We then used this movement to make marks on paper and see which letter we can form using the that movement. These lessons are great fun and engaging, but help our children to be confident mark makers.

Oh my goodness!! There's an evil pea on the loose in our school, causing havoc wherever he goes! So this term we looked at Superheroes!

Last month we went on an autumn walk to Queen’s Park, during which we collected lots of ‘Signs of Autumn’ to bring back to school.

Having fun in the park.
