Hedgehog class have been busy in Science learning about plants. We have been looking after our tomato plants and growing cress seeds. We have been experimenting with the seeds that we plant by putting them in different places to find out what plants need to grow well. We have also planted pansies in the school playground!
We made monkeys, researched China and made dragon puppets and masks.
It's Christmas in Class 7 and we had a very special visitor on the 1st December... our new Scout Elf! The children have named our new Elf friend 'Wishes' and he will be checking on the children's behavior every day and reporting back to Santa at the North Pole every night. Each morning when he returns from the North Pole, he is in a new position around our classroom! We are waiting to see what mischief he will get up to this week...
This morning Hedgehog class had a very special visit from 'Private Beth' who told us more about the second and first World War and why we have a Remembrance Day.
